The Baekje Cultural Festival, first held in 1955 by Buyeo County, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. It has become a leading historical and cultural festival in Korea, highlighting the rich history and culture of Baekje and preserving its heritage in modern times. The main venue, the Baekje Cultural Land, is a 1-million-pyeong site that faithfully recreates the Baekje royal palace, including the Sabigung Palace. The complex allows visitors to experience the history and culture of Baekje as it was 1,400 years ago through realistic reconstructions of historical sites and artifacts. The 70th Baekje Cultural Festival will be held from September 28 (Saturday) to October 6 (Sunday) for 9 days, featuring 40 programs across 7 categories, held at the Baekje Cultural Land, Sinri (Baekje Old Bridge), and throughout Buyeo town.
